Seats had to be added as it became a full house for the 1st show of 2023. After weeks of horrendous rains, floods, and cyclones, battered the North over Anniversary weekend, the players were grateful that the show was in Tauranga, where things hadn’t been quite so dire. Waitangi weekend saw sunshine in the Bay …
A great lineup of games was planned for the last show of 2022, and the players were ready. It seems to be a habit that the Honest Liars shows clashed with all important games by the All Blacks. This show was no exception, although it wasn’t the men’s rugby but the semi-final of the Black …
New games were introduced into the show, but the players were the same. Even those returning from holidays got to tread the boards. The sky had opened, and the torrent of rain came down in sheets as the players arrived at the theatre. The Honest Liars were pleased to get inside the theatre after jumping …

The Honest Liars were in fine form and delivered an excellent selection of games to the receptive audience. It proved to be a very different show, as not only did the Honest Liars present a brand new game, but there was a tinge of sadness. The last day of daylight saving didn’t faze the exuberance of the Honest Liars players as they arrived at the theatre ready to play to a nearly full …
Even though N.Z. was right in the midst of the red light scenario laid out by the government, neither it nor the rush of omicron proved to be a deterrent. Six p.m. and the Honest Liars had arrived at the theatre ready to set up and begin warming the grey matter for the evening’s performance. …
The players were excited about performing on a new stage in their new home at 16th Ave Theatre. The threat of rain was gone as the Honest Liars arrived at the theatre and began inspecting their new home. Finding an actual ‘Actors’ Room’ with couches and tables delighted the players as it provided the much-needed …
